I’m at the Doswell gun show here in Virginia. It’s a smaller venue but I like to support it to encourage it’s growth.
1. There are booths here for Dr Carson, Rand Paul, and Rick Santorum to gather signatures to be on the primary ballot. I was going to do this for Trump but found out he already has his signatures. It’s is amazing that the people operating the booths seem like paid spokespeople and are slickly prepared to steer the conversation to support whatever it is you like. For example I learned that Carson likes Obama care and want to fix it. And Santorum wants fewer immigrants but has never proposed that in the senate.

Is Trump a conservative? -No
Does he have a clue how to run a business? -Yes
Does that translate to politics and running a country? -not sure
Does his very existence drive the arrogant Republican establishment batty? -Oh YES
… and that is an end in and of itself.

Has voting for any conservative since Reagan resulted in any conservative policy victories? Winning elections needs to be more than just selecting the StayPuft Marshmallow Man.

Good point. We have been used and abused by the establishment since Reagan. More gov is bad for the common taxpayer by definition

Since less government is not on the menu this election cycle, how about selecting something that is… Cutting immigration.
