MLK Day: Observed

In case you missed it, MLK holiday was observed in the DoD yesterday (25 January).  Here’s the poster.

Why did we observe it on Wednesday, over a week after the actual holiday?  Because despite the annual slogan “A day on, not a day off”, 16 January was indeed “A day off”, and not even MLK enthusiasts and professional MLK day fluffers were willing to come to work that day to do what they were being paid by taxpayers to do.   The funny part is that not a single one of them even notice that their annual slogan is in direct opposition to their actual practice, EVERY YEAR.  MLK day is a holiday created by democrats to appease one of their favorite constituencies.  Logic, consistency, or even avoiding shame are not applicable to them.  Every year, they remind us that the words coming out of their mouths are without substance and not to be taken seriously.

“Every year, they remind us that the words coming out of their mouths are without substance and not to be taken seriously.” ~~~And every other single day of the year.
