Current events

  1.  Now that it no longer matters, The President is endorsing Hillary Clinton to take his place.  Seems like the whole point of an endorsement would be to lend weight to a campaign and help her win.  Not this president.  Like voting “Present” in the Senate.  Goes on record only when it no longer matters.
  2. And speaking of things that no longer matter…  The DC primary is coming up.  Now that there are no longer any point to having it since both major parties already selected their candidates and the minor parties DON’T USE PRIMARIES.  How’s that whole, “democratic party process” working out for you guys?
  3. Another mass shooting by a **cough** Moslem**cough**.  The lessons to be learned are the same as always.  The news media never knows what is going on in a big event, but that doesn’t stop them from covering it and filling a 24 hour news cycle with mindless “analysis” and commentary.  Obviously, restricting immigration would not have prevented all mass shootings.  But it WOULD have prevented this one.  My theory:  The shooter was gay.  He went to that club to shoot his lying-cheating-two-timing boyfriend and the 6 guys he was blowing in the bathroom.  Then he decided to cover it up by making it look like something that had nothing to do with being **cough**gay**cough**.  Another thing that would have prevented this mass shooting?  Prohibit gay people from congregating in groups larger than 5 people.  And make them wear some kind of badge or something so we can count them easier.  Like a pink triangular badge or something easy to see.

I don’t remember for sure, and the intarweb of course is conflicted on the issue, but I do not think Nixon was formally charged of anything when Ford pardoned him. Accused, yes, but I don’t rememebr if actual charges had been brought. In any event, the Lightbringer is above the law, so he can do anything he wants.

And Nixon pardon was never challenged in court. He resigned “for the good of the country” specifically to avoid the scandal of a trial, so even his enemies agreed with his pardon.
