- Please, all you Harley enthusiasts, tell me. How does your doing your hobby, for your own enjoyment, here in the Nation’s capital instead of in your home town a thousand miles away, benefit a single veteran?
- Please, all you theological geniuses, tell me, how a memorial parade benefits the dead in any way. I understand that in some far away cultures that practice ancestor worship (Asia and Catholic Latin America) that the dead get “feel goods” when living people do stuff like this. But in Christianity (the significantly dominant religion in HERE), dead people die. Their souls go to heaven and are behind a great veil and are no longer interested in the things of this world. The second most dominant religion is atheism, which believes that the dead become food for worms and also have no interest in the doings of those still living.
